PLACKI KARTOFLANE (ZIEMIACZANE): potato wafers
ingredients:
4 large potatoes, 1 onion, 1 egg, 2 C with S. of flour, salt, pepper,
frying oil.
To peel the ground p. and onion, to grate them finely or to pass them
to mixer. To withdraw the water surplus. To add the flour, egg
entirety, a little salt and pepper. To mix all the ingredients well.
In a frying pan, to carry to boiling 4 at 5 C with oil S.; then to
deposit there 4 C with S. of the preparation by applatissant them.
To make well gild wafers on a side; to turn over and let gild on the
other face. To drain on absorbing paper.
To start again the operation until exhaustion of the paste.
To lay out wafers on a dish of service. To be useful quite hot, salted
or sweetened, or with a sauce with mushrooms, or
in accompaniment of meat, salad or fish (with salmon smoked p. ex:).
